suction holder for Montana Oct 17, 2011
By LGSJ Great unit except it does not work on my 2011 Tundra. No place for the suction deal to stick on. Should have bought the unit that has the sandbag looking deal.

By James Underwood It would be nice if you could tell whether a specific product will work for you before you buy it, unfortuantely thats not the case. In this situation there was too much space between the windsheild and the dash board making installation next to impossbile. I rate this product four stars because I was able to go out and buy the base for a different mount and disengage the cradle from this mount and snap it into the ball joint of the other. Versatility is a great thing.

By JR It was very easy to attach the holder to the windshield of the car and the suction cup provided a rigid and secure hold unlike others which I have tried. Adjusting the the GPS for a perfect view was not a problem and it stayed in that position in spite of bumpy driving.

the mount worked very well - I did return the mount - only because the GPS (Garmin Montana)was not a good product that should have Garmins name on it
