I love the Nioxin products -- especially the hairsprays. I was disappointed, however that this order was not the newest version of the product. The new version is even better than the one I received.

So far, anything Nioxin is the absolute best. And it helps with thinning hair, hair treated with color, etc. The spray in particular is especially good. You can spray your hair and it never looks "pasted", shellacked, whatever. Not sticky, and can be combed at night, with no residue left behind. Never sticky, always natural looking--that's the Nioxin line.
One caution,however, try to get information at a regular beauty supply house that carries Nioxin, to find out which group your hair is (1, 2, 3). This is not an easy product to just pick out of a line-up, helps to get the basic picture first as to which group for which hair type.

I use this as my "working" spray while rolling my hair and then I use the extra hold to finish.
I'm a 40 year old female with dark thin...ning (ugh) hair and Nioxin products have really helped my hair look fuller and much more natural than other sprays I've tried. The thing I love most about this spray is that it does not weigh my hair down, nor does it dry it out...yet it manages to keep my hair from becoming too oily. As a result, I wash my hair less often which helps keep it on my head instead of the drain.
